This workshop looks at the properties of movements that exist in our bodies! We will look at how we move, why we move the way we do, and what changes in our body language with simple changes to our intentions. SOUNDS ALL AROUND
Sounds are everywhere, from a tap dripping water, to an airplane taking off! We look at the various sounds that make up a setting, and the personality sound can have from how loud it is, to how quickly it happens along with the effects that has on a soundscape. INTRO TO PUPPETRY with Nicholas Leno
In the first instalment of our workshop series participants will become acquainted with the world of puppetry! First we’ll make our own puppets using a few everyday objects you can find around your home. Then we’ll embark on a series of simple exercises to discover how your puppet moves, thinks, sounds, and interacts with the world. Participants will leave having learned the fundamentals of puppetry and with a new friend!

THE ART OF THE AUDITION with Sarah Finn
The second instalment in our workshop series is focused on preparing for an audition. Through a series of exercises focused on a pre-selected piece and a cold reading, participants will build a foundation of strong audition techniques. Participants will also learn about what takes place in auditions and tips for choosing their own monologues.

MEET THE BARD! with Nicholas Leno
In this third instalment in our workshop series, participants will get a crash course in Shakespeare and classical text. Through games designed to make Shakespeare’s language come off the page, participants will learn to tackle Shakespeare without fear. We’ll explore the basics of iambic pentameter and how to make sense of a 400 year language. For Bard lovers or newbies – all are welcome!
