We hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but alas, we have a sad update to share with you.
The health and safety of our patrons, artists, staff and volunteers is of paramount importance, which is why at this time, we have decided to postpone our Torchlight Shakespeare In the Park summer tour and upcoming production of The Tempest.
We may be Fools, but we are not foolish: taking into account the detailed preparation and advance planning that goes into these productions, as well as the risks involved with presenting the show in-person at this time, we have concluded that this is unfortunately the right decision.
BUT WAIT! We would never dream of leaving you with such dismal news. We will be pivoting to offer fun and engaging digital content this summer and a series of online educational workshops for youth.
Pending restrictions in the fall, we are also hoping to re-mount our production of Love From Afar, with performances for schools, senior facilities, and even some public performances.

All of us have experienced setbacks due to this global pandemic, but it is our ability to adapt to these setbacks that will keep us on the right path. As our good pal William Shakespeare once said, “that to believing souls gives light in darkness, comfort in despair”
Despite the difficult times we find ourselves in, many of you have chosen to make a donation to help us through this crisis over the last year. For that we are incredibly grateful. If you are interested in supporting our organization, you can do so by clicking here.
Thank you for your unwavering support and patience as we navigate through these complications.
Yours in waiting,
