A Company of Fools is holding auditions in Ottawa for our 2016 Season:

• The Torchlight Shakespeare summer touring production
• An indoor production in the fall
• Animation & Roving
• Foolagram Deliveries

Audition location:

The Avalon Studio, 2nd Floor, 738A Bank Street, Ottawa, ON

Audition dates:

Monday December 7th, Wednesday December 9th

Please prepare:

• One Shakespearean monologue
• On sonnet done in a comedic manner
  and
• 16 bars of an acappella song

The successful candidates will have a strong handle of Shakespearean text, be physically adept, versatile and (for our Torchlight Shakespeare production) be able to repetitively lift a minimum of 40 lbs in extreme heat, humidty, rain and other summer-like weather conditions. Puppetry skills, improv and the ability to confidently play accordion or woodwinds will be considered an asset.

A strong sense of humour and supportive team spirit are essential.
