Hailing from the balmy shores of Australia,Bridget has been living in Ottawa since 2000 with her partner Charlie. In 2006 Bridget was lured by her love of creative,playful,physical theatre into joining the board of A Company of Fools. She was Chairperson for three years and is now a regular board member as well as taking on the sizable role of Volunteer Coordinator,which,not everyone knows,is a volunteer position in itself.

Although with regard to theatre Bridget is only involved behind the scenes,or in front of the stage as an audience member,she does enjoy the creative pursuits of singing and drumming. She sings with Just Voices activist choir (www.justvoices.ca) and with two friends in an a cappella group “Triolet”as well as leading the hand drum group Kunundrum (www.kunundrum.ca). And she makes the most of Ottawa’s fantastic outdoors with road biking,mountain biking,cross country skiing,snowboarding and skating and even took up that crazy game of Hockey last winter. With a great Arts scene and great outdoors,why wouldn’t you love Ottawa?
