“Thanks to the Canadian Summer Jobs program, I was fortunate enough to have worked as the Apprentice Production Manager for a Company of Fools last year. The process was extremely enlightening for me. I got to work with the actors, make costumes and props, and work on the set, as well as backstage during the run. I feel like it really helped me understand everyones roles behind the scenes a lot more than I had before, and it was an amazing experience that I believe prepared me for the position that I have in the company for this year (Apprentice Stage Manager). I highly recommend taking advantage of these job positions, no matter what part of theatre you plan to pursue.”
