Alexandra Isenor is a local arts manager, director, actor and creator. A graduate from the University of Ottawa with a double major in Theatre and Psychology, Alexandra has begun to work with several arts organizations in the city. Specializing in working with non-for-profit companies with over 8 years of management experience, Alexandra joined the Fools in 2016.
Most recently Alexandra managed Once Upon A Kingdom (OUK) while teaching and directing for the past three years. This small children’s theatre company has reached a wide audience in recent years, having just been chosen as the only company to represent Canada at The World Festival of Children’s Theatre, June 2016. Most recently her young troupe performed at The Magnetic North Theatre Festival and The Ottawa International Children’s Theatre Festival.
When she is not busy managing art she is creating her own. Specializing in puppetry and object theatre, Alexandra creates original shows that she often performs with the young artists she teaches. Fascinated by storytelling and creation, Alexandra strives to infuse all her work with unrestricted exploration.
